New Touchback Rule - 25 yds
#1
The NFL is going to move the touchback out to the 25 yard line next season in an effort to reduce collisions during kickoffs.  I think this is completely wrong headed!  I have been a big fan over the last 5 years of how the CFL handles kickoffs instead and I wish the NFL would have followed suit.  The CFL rules are that if you kick the ball out of the back of the end zone you earn 1 point and then the ball is moved out to the 20 OR if you fair catch and take a knee in the end zone you concede a point to the kicking team. I would even put the ball at the 15 yard line to stack the odds against the receiving team. If you do nothing then you should concede a point and get shitty field position.

Why would you expect the NFL to do anything sensible?
Because I said so.
