Motherfucker! I was enjoying it so much too. I'm really pissed, since I don't have any spare acoustic strings on me.
Anyway, I decided that I didn't need a 2nd PRS, but instead I needed my own acoustic. So I cancelled the Custom 24 I had on layaway and put the money I got from selling my McCarty towards an acoustic. I tried at least a dozen guitars ranging from a grand to 3500, and this was the best thing I could get for less than 2700 - I'm not even kidding, this thing is fucking amazing. It's exactly like when I got the space echo - I spent an hour or two trying to convince myself to like a Gibson or a Martin (or hell, even the USA Breedloves they had there) but once I picked up this thing, I knew within a minute that I'd walk out of the store with it.
So that's what I did.
The Breedlove Solo Concert. It sounds fucking fantastic, and plays like goddamn butter. I particularly love the neck - it's thick enough to have some meat but really fast to play on. Also extremely nice is the side port - it gives you a noticeable boost in the low end, since it's pointed right at your ears. It also comes with a rubber cover so you can cover the port for a more traditional sound if you want that. And a shoutout to the awesome bridge design - bridge pins are a thing of the past, and it looks sexy as hell IMO.
Also, I love the gig bag. It's nearly as thick and padded as my mono bag - I have no problem taking this guitar anywhere in that bag, save in a cargo hold. But anything short of that, I'm good.
And to top it off, it's only 800 brand new. I honestly couldn't be happier to only have one PRS and what may be the best import guitar I've ever played.
