It was my first time doing grillcloth and piping. It's not that bad off, but it is off. It waves a little, too.

Holy fucking shit!!! I don't know where to start.

It does that thing! Like, when you stop a note, and you still hear the resonation of the cab. If that makes sense? I've been trying to get my shit to do that for years.

Those V-Series Celstion's, are a perfect match for this thing. They come out very warm in this cabinet. Not ice picky at all, and the bass response is off the chain. The cab is it's own musical instrument.

I love it! It sounds exactly how it should. No complaints at all. It was very well worth the time and money. No disappointment here. I'm ecstatic!

I'm racking my brain trying to put into words what it sounds like. This will have to do.

It feels like it's alive. Like it's more of a musical instrument. Depending on what I do with my playing, I can make make react in different ways.

A good hard hit and quick mute on a low note, makes what I call a "whromp." You can hear and feel the air moving in the cabinet to produce the effect. It's fucking sweet!

While playing with less pick attack in longer open runs, it's makes this almost reverb effect. It's beautiful.

I've never been one to cork sniff about cabinets, but it's so much better than those 2, 1x12s I've had for like 7 years now. Knocking on each one in comparison is even a whole different world. The 1x12 just thuds and goes dead. The new one has a tone when knocked on. It kind of rings for second.

I hope some of that helps. I'm in awe of it at the moment.

The trick with grill cloth is ;
Put it on evenly without stretching it tight so all your lines are even. It usually hangs a little loose at this point. Then you pass a radiator or similar heat producing device [ maybe a hair dryer ] up an down and across at about six inches away and slowly apply the heat. It should shrink tightly and evenly. Don't do it too fast [ over heat it ] or it will distort.

Finally got my corners in today. It'll be 100% very shortly.

Try this on. I kept noticing this cool effect everytime I would sand in-between clear coats. It seems to give it more of that smokey feel I was going for from the start.

I'm using an 8" block with 500 grit paper wrapped around it. For some reason the grain pops more after light sanding. I think it looks cool! You can see the sandpaper scratch marks, but it still works. It rocks the zinc corners I got too.
