I've lusted after one of these for years so I finally did something about it.
I went and bought one. I drove to Melb and hunted it out on Wednesday. 23 Hr round trip.
It's a made in china model.

These pics are best at the moment. I'll try for better tomorrow with daylight.
I put a new set of strings on it straight away and adjusted the bridge. It's feels and is sounding pretty good.
I haven't given it a good work out through the amp yet. huge grin

Damn, that's a beauty! Got reverb? You're gonna need it.
Someone should put that in their signature…

No, just an Analog delay,
I do have  some reverb tanks sitting around and I've been meaning to turn one into a stand alone unit. This might get me inspired to do it. :toast:

I did make a stereo unit from some hammond units but it runs on my sound system and it's inputs and outputs are line level and it's solid state drive and recovery. If I make a stand alone I'll probably make it valve driven.

Played it a bit with the amp yesterday. The P90's seem to have a lot more bottom end than other pups I have.
It does Blues Tones really nicely. I have to fuck around with it more to get the handle of these pups. It plays beautifully
and I think I'm going to spend a lot of time on this guitar. Even unplugged it has a lovely body tone.
The neck is almost identical to my Hummingbird which makes it seem really familiar.
