I just got home from seeing Tesla-->Styx-->Def Leppard

Last time I saw Def Lepp the drummer had twice as many arms. He's still better than many two armed drummers.

It was a rockin' evening.

The only disappointment was that the venue didn't seem to have the parking situation under control and we ended up only catching the last two tunes from Tesla.   No encore.

Styx played a 50 minute set. Do they think they're psychologists?

Def Leppard played for about 90 minutes. Evil
Because I said so.

Yeah, I think JY only used two. He had a red strat for most of the set.

Tommy used two ACOUSTICS, and a slew of electrics.

Lawrence acts, dances, plays, and sings like Dennis DeYoung. Tell me again why Dennis is not back in the band?

I didn't realize until last night that Vivian Campbell has been fighting Hodgkins for the last three years.

Frank Hannon is a talented , smoking player. Still can't wrap my head around Viv saying he hoped Dio would die from cancer , what a shitbag.

He has expressed remorse over the feud (article from 2012).

Yeah , after Dio died he realized he was a shitbag asswipe that was a jerk to the guy that gave him his big break in music and everyone treat him like crap so he made the apology to save face . My bass player calls him " The Forehead " it's just funny. People in the vicinity of the spotlight have a tendency to think they are important.
