I don't know if you read schematics. here's a schematic of the pre-amp. I've highlighted the signal flow [ Red line ] going through V1 [ 1 + 2 ] and V2 [ 3 + 4 ] up to where it goes to the Phase Splitter
It jumps the Vol and Tone plugs [ a and b ] for simplicity's sake.
This is essentially through four pre-amps.

I've added a second channel based on my Vase pre-amp circuitry. It's working but as it's late [early AM ] I can't turn it up. I'll give it a proper run later today.

It makes my ears tickle. That's at least the " threshold of feeling " which is around 110 DB.
I don't have a DB meter, I might have to get one. :toast:

Aaaaah. That was fun. Did a bit of running through each of the two channels and seeing how they performed and compared. Everything was fine until I cranked it right up. It was performing fine but I noticed a little wisp of smoke from the O.T.
I turned it off and checked out the O.T. Nothing visibly damaged but it was pretty warm.
I've let it cool while I went and did something else. I've just turned it back on and will leave it on for a while, make some noise through it and see how it goes. It's working but I think I might have to get a better transformer. I don't think this one is going to take full power.

I've ordered the relevant one for the KK 2203. A Hammond.

You know, I believe I said that I would start mine when you finished yours. Looks like you are pretty much done. Guess it's time to pull everything out, and see what I have and don't have.
Was actually considering scavenging all the good new stuff from my Windsor/2204. The choke can be used, the PT from it should be easier to use than the one from that Crate Stealth. Most all of the new pio caps can be pulled, and have plenty of lead left on them. Plus, I have brand new classic tone OT for it.
Decisions, decisions.....
