That makes more sense.

Holy crap, that makes this guitar 20 years old.

I seem to have a penchant for buying old guitars.

It damn sure doesn't look 20 years old! Had to have been a coffin queen. You did good on that one.
I hear Mexico is nice this time of year.

It's a 96. They built US Deans there from 95-97 but there are VERY few other than 96.

Also, there is/was no need for that to be CS or non-CS; they were all built by Pat Baker, Ben Chafin, Brian Lloyd (who managed to build himself a Dean limba doubleneck Caddy), and maybe a couple other guys.

They're ALL basically custom.

Fun fact: the original body bucks were missing at the time. They got as close as they could but they're all still a little off from the originals and the newer stuff. For instance, my ML leaned to left when standing up...

And they stay looking new, forever. The chrome hardware is tough as fuck and the finish is super thick poly, like old Ibbys. Indestructable.

You wouldn't guess that this guitar is trans teal instead of black, but it is. I'm going to try and get some good outdoor pictures to prove it over the weekend.

I can't wait to put this thing through its paces. It feels really comfortable to hold it, so I'm interested in how it will feel on the strap.

More details and pics to follow as I have a chance to really play it.

That's like the plum-purple Parker I have. The pictures never show the true color.
Because I said so.

I was finally able to accurately photograph the color on this guitar. It's really nice imo.

I'd imagine it feels and plays just like my Explorer Pro. The only difference should be the neck width.
That's a nice ass axe!
