Not sure if you mean the SG or the cage ? I did manage to order the wrong frikking knob for the 3 way switch since I was going gold figured that a gold knob would look better. Bought 4mm instead of 8/32 not like I have an extra 5 bucks to throw away gee whiz.Got to love conductive adhesives , no soldering involved now.

The cage... the top section looks like the blob or something, staring with many eyes...
Then again it could be a mushroom with bullet holes in it .

Not able to help in any way , shape or form , sorry. But yes the copper foil is not the easiest thing to put down in a weird shaped area and expect a good smooth look . Even with repeated rubbings with a dry towel didn't uncrinkle it. I am losing my touch.

I know its more expensive, but this is a lot less dangerous to the fingertips than copper tape.

We call it finished , I guess. Going to get Stainless steel frets and going to do a partial tap(adding a resistor) instead of the way it is wired now.
