Nostalgia!

It's a vicious cycle, and very little really changes...

My first real rig, behind my first Gorilla amp, Digitech RP1, and Cort Effector guitar, was a masterpiece.

It consisted of a Randall SS, 2x10 Studio Chorus, a Digitech RP3, and that same, Sears, Cort Effector Explorer.

Ahem.... Sorry for the delay and melodramatics. I've run full circle and didn't even realize it. Scratch your head on this one boys... I'm right back where it all started, and I fucking love it!

Yeah, the guitar is much cooler, and this Randall has like 17 tubes in it, and I had to Jerry rig the RP3 with a new power supply and plug... But hey! It is what it is. Feels like home to me. I'm actually playing again! 8 bit effects and all, bitches. Wut?

I blame it on the cab, Gibson, and 50 gazillion tubes. But what do I know...

Which pe amp modules does it have and what output tubes is it running ? I see a Plexi module, what's the other ?

Neat looking rig.

That RP3 is bad as shit. It has the space station algorithm, right?
Trust me, I'm a medical professional.

Neat looking rig.

It's an Eden modded plexi module, and the other is the hard to find, amazing sounding, stock, Judge module.

The amp itself has something called a Jaded Faith mod. I haven't really looked at specs, but it seems to be the thing to do with them.

Running, JJ 34's at the moment, but I have a few other matched pairs of power tubes. Curious to see what 6v6's sound like in it.

Its great to revisit your old stuff if you still have it.

After starting around the end of the dark ages... Rig was a Musicmaster, Vibrochamp and a cable. That's it until about 1984 when I scraped up enough to get a distortion. Then a monster was born!

Why did I never run these Processers in a parallel loop, in the past? That seems to be where the magic happens with these things.

With just the EQ, a hint of chorus, and just a smidge of compression, this setup comes alive. Adjust the loop level to even out with the preamp, and it's almost like a stereo rig. I live this old ass, obsolete, rement of the past. The reverbs in this thing are to die for.
