In a story that only gets more bizarre by the moment, Britney Murphy’s husband, British Screenwriter Simon Monjack, has now been found dead of apparent “natural causes”.

Yes, Simon was found dead in the Hollywood home he and his wife and mother-in-law formerly shared a mere five months after her death. A woman, who has yet to be identified, called 911 last evening after she found his body. At this point the (busy) L.A. Coroner’s Office is running lead since there is no evidence of criminal activity or foul play. No details classifying it as a suicide have been released either. Read the rest of this entry »

This morning, right before Howard introduced singer/songwriter Jewel on the SiriusXM air, he spoke about “trying” to watch a movie over the weekend. The movie was a screener of “The Human Centipede”, and Howard could only “watch two seconds of it” due to it’s disturbing nature. Show producer Gary Dell’Abate chimed in saying he watched the movie, but “almost vomitted.”

The studio synopsis for the movie is as follows:
During a stopover in Germany in the middle of a carefree roadtrip through Europe, two American girls find themselves alone at night when their car breaks down in the woods. Searching for help at a nearby villa, they are wooed into the clutches of a deranged retired surgeon who explains his mad scientific vision to his captives’ utter horror. They are to be the subjects of his sick lifetime fantasy: to be the first to connect people, one to the next, via their gastric system, and in doing so bring to life ‘the human centipede’.

Apparently, this is only the “first sequence” of the movie so part two, or the “second sequence” is quickly on the way.

I’m sure Howard has much more to say about the movie but had to break before interviewing Jewel.

I apologize in advance for the misleading title. No, this is not a recent interview. The interview was conducted with Artie Lange, Howard Stern’s infamous sidekick, “months” before his suicide attempt in December 2009. There is, however, a prologue to the interview describing Artie’s state of mind at the time and how he described himself as clean.

The interview is not totally devoid of new information though. In an article-closing “update” we do get a rare statement from a Lange family member, Artie’s sister. It is not clear if this is an actual quote or not but the statement reads that “[Artie] is still in bed and not speaking more than five words a day.”

Where’s Artie Lange when you need him? Taking his place in the studio this morning was Jimmy Kimmel, who sat in on the entire show. During today’s show, Howard Stern announced the new Miss Howard TV for June 2010, Corin Riggs. No, it’s not Corinne or Corine… or Rigs. Howard TV is Howard Stern’s On-Demand cable network.

Corin just recently graduated Arizona State University where she was a Biology major. Speaking of Biology, she let us know during her interview that her breasts are very real. Corin is aspiring to be a physicians assistant which Howard and Jimmy Kimmel noted “could ruin a modeling career.”

Corin explained her training in giving an enema, which opened her up to Howard’s “anal” question. She admitted being into it and then Howard deferred to the in-studio expert Robin Quivers for comment. As usual Robin declined.

What is going on over at Foxconn? Since they’re an electronic supplier, you may not have heard of them, but if you own any hardware made by Apple, Microsoft, Nintendo or Sony, chances are you have some electronics that came out of a Foxconn plant.

A plant that has seen NINE suicide attempts so far this year, seven of which were successful. The latest victim was found with a bloody knife and multiple stab wounds after falling from the 7th floor of a company dormitory.

This is apparently nothing new at Foxconn either: back in July of 2009 a man killed himself after being questioned over a missing iPhone prototype (looks like Gray Powell dodged a bullet there!) Read the rest of this entry »

It looks like while America was playing “Where in the World is Matt Lauer” none of us guessed in the bed of another woman. It seems the man that covered the Tiger Woods and Jesse James scandals for Today Show may have had a bit of philandering going on himself. Internet blogs are rumoring that Matt and wife of 6 years Annette Roque are splitting up because of Matt’s infidelities.

This morning, Emma The Amish Girl visited the Howard Stern Show on SiriusXM Satellite radio. I don’t think this girl is quite Amish anymore… unless you couldn’t tell by her picture on the left. Emma was promoting her featured gallery on the New American Pinup website.

Howard grilled Emma on her former lifestyle, asking about the do’s and don’ts of Amish living. Needless to say, there is quite a leap from that former life to posing nude on the internet. And not just nude… spreadeagled nude.

Nintendo’s Entertainment Analysis and Development boss Shigeru Miyamoto is considering instituting online pricing models for the Wii’s online gaming.

In an interview with Edge, Miyamoto admitted:

… Probably the other thing that we are desperate to realise is the core [online] business structure. Do we need to demand customers pay monthly fees to enjoy online activities? Or give an online subscription that is free of charge, but then offer something extra for people that pay, so that they get some extra value? With these core business strategies I think we are less active than we should be.
