March Madness – Final Four: Updated Printable NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament Bracket
We’re finally down to the Final Four in the 2011 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament bracket… and if anyone tells you they guessed this combination of teams, they’re either lying or rich enough to fix the whole thing. Not a single 1 or 2 seed has made it into the Final Four and only a single #1 made it into the Elite Eight.
The 2011 “Final Four” consist of #4 Kentucky, #3 Connecticut, #8 Butler and #11 VCU. Neither Butler or VCU even made it into the AP’s top 25 NCAA Basketball poll. So who is laughing now? This is the second trip to the Final Four for Butler in as many years. This time they did it by beating #1 Pitt, #4 Wisconsin and #2 Florida. You can’t say they didn’t earn it. Madden NFL 12 Cover Athlete Voting: Round 1 Results
A few hours ago, voting for round 1 of the Madden NFL 12 Cover athlete was closed and round 2 is now open. This year, EA Sports is using a 32-player tournament-style bracket to let the fans of the game, and the NFL, decide who will grace this year’s cover.
EA chose one representative for each NFL team and seeded them similar to the NCAA Basketball Tournament brackets. There were a few blowouts in round 1, the biggest being the Falcons’ quarterback Matt “Matty Ice” Ryan defeating the Panthers’ offensive lineman Jordan Gross to the tune of 89% to 11%. Last Call For Madden NFL 12 Cover Athlete Fan Voting – Round 1
In just a few hours, the voting period for round 1 of the Madden NFL 12 cover athlete “tournament” will be closed. Round 2 begins immediately after the close of round 1 in this March Madness bracket-style voting system. This is the first time EA Sports is giving the fans this much of a say in choosing the Madden NFL cover athlete. Sexy 2K Sports Top Spin 4 Trailer Leaked
A racy, unreleased trailer with Serena Williams and actress Rileah Vanderbilt (who has appeared in such films as the slasher film Hatchet) that was shot for Top Spin 4 was briefly leaked on YouTube, then pulled, but not after getting over a million views.
Some still shots still exist, including the image above, which is definitely red-hot. 2K Sports released this statement before the video was removed:

Cam Newton 2011 NFL Draft Contest Update: Mock Drafts and Travel Plans
It has been reported that nine NFL teams have set up appointments with Mr. Cameron Newton to take a closer look at what he can bring to the table, prior to the 2011 NFL Amateur Draft. Critics still appear to be split on how Cam’s abilities can translate to the speed of the NFL, but it looks like nine teams still consider him a level 1 quarterback prospect.
Newton’s busy appointment schedule is as follows. The position of the team’s first overall pick in the draft is shown after their name:

2011 NFL Draft: Cam Newton Contest Mock Draft and Wonderlic Test Updates
The TMR Zoo Cam Newton Draft contest was launched only a few days ago and there has been a flurry of entries already. Entrants have guessed everything from Cam Newton being drafted with the first pick overall to being completely undrafted in the 2011 NFL draft. We promised to deliver you links to what all of the “experts” have to say about Cam Newton’s “stock”, an here is the first edition…
First off, the results of Cam Newton’s Wonderlic test score has been made public, and it was a pretty lackluster result. Cam scored a 21 on the test, which is used to measure a player’s intelligence. It has been said that you need score at least a 20 on the test to be an affective quarterback in the NFL. (Ut oh!) That’s it! The field of 64 is finally set and the 2011 NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship Tournament will officially tip off Thursday evening. You can grab an updated printed March Madness bracket below to use in your office pools… which you should already be entered in, but if not, have at it.
The final two slots in the bracket were filled last night as UTSA beat Alabama State, 70-61, to earn the #16 seed and also the right to have their ass kicked by #1 Ohio State tomorrow at 4:40pm EST.
