NFL Minicamp Dates Announced

JAKE LONG…CHRIS LONG…MATT RYAN…and all other rookies – welcome to the NFL. Now it’s time to start showing what you’ve got! That will be the order for both rookies…and veterans…over the next two weekends as NFL clubs, with the 2008 NFL Draft in the books, open minicamps to get a view of their new talent and move the veterans out of the weight room and onto the field.

“I can’t wait to get to Atlanta,” says quarterback Ryan, the first-round draft choice of the Atlanta Falcons, who start their three-day minicamp on May 10. “It’s going to be a lot of fun working with those guys. I’m going to do everything I can between now and minicamp to learn the playbook and have the offense down pat. I just can’t wait to get down there.”

Thirty of the NFL’s 32 teams conduct minicamps over the next two weekends (Denver and Jacksonville will do so in June).
