It happened again, or should I say it didn’t happen. Not a single member correctly picked both the highest-scoring MLB team and the team that allowed the least amount of runs in week 6 of the Major League Baseball season. Nobody wins the prize pack and it rolls over, yet again, and will be combined with another prize.
Both the New York Mets and the San Francisco Giants scored the most runs last week, with 46. The Chicago Cubs let up the least amount of runs, holding opposing teams to 15. No one had much faith in the Cubbies’ pitching staff since only a single member picked them. The Mets, on the other hand, were a popular pick for the most run scored with almost 20% of the field guessing them. You’re getting close guys, keep it up.

To enter, all you need to do is pick two Major League Baseball teams. Using the drop down boxes on the entry page, pick the professional team you think will score the most runs in the upcoming week, then pick the team that will give up the least amount of runs. After you’ve selected your teams, guess the actual number of runs for each category in the fields provided.
To win the prize, you must correctly identify the two teams. The scores you entered will be used to break any ties in the Double Play. The prize for week 1 was the Kelsyus Original Canopy Chair. See the prizing page for more details. Since nobody guessed the two teams correctly in the first 6 weeks, the pot rolls over again… and combined with the Nerf N-Force Battle Sword. The longer we go without a weekly winner, the bigger the prize pack becomes. This week’s prize is “Seth MacFarlane’s Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy: Uncensored” on DVD. It could be combined with the chair, the G4 prize pack, the Nickelback DVD, the Lifestyles prize pack and the sword if no one has guesses the right teams THIS week. Once you enter the Double Play, you are automatically entered into the Nickent Golf Grand Slam. If you can correctly pick the two teams as mentioned above, AS WELL as the exact runs scored and allowed, you have hit the Nickent Golf Grand Slam and win a full set of Nickent Golf Clubs in a stand bag.
