A week after a massive prize pack was awarded to our first winner of the year, week eight’s winner is… no one. In fact, it wasn’t even close this week with only one member picking either of the two teams correctly. No winner means that last week’s prize is now combined with a new one as we roll into week 9.
Week 8’s top run scoring team was, believe it or not, the basement-dwelling Baltimore Orioles with 43 runs scored. It was the St. Louis Cardinals that allowed the least amount of runs last week at 13. As mentioned above, only one entrant selected the Orioles and no one picked the Cardinals.
The popular teams this week were the New York Mets on offense, with 9% of the field picking them, and the Diamondbacks on defense, with 11% favoring them. Better luck next week!
No winner means that the Erdinger prize pack, courtesy of Distinguished Brands International, is still up for grabs and now combined with Seth MacFarlane’s Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy DVD. See below for more details on the Erdinger prize pack:
The prize pack consists of: 4 Erdinger glasses with soccer ball tops, 1 Erdinger Lucite beer glass, 1 Erdinger Tee Shirt, 1 Erdinger bottle opener, Erdinger stickers, Erdinger brochures, 1 Erdinger tap handle, 1 Erdinger wall lamp.
Voting is now open for the statistical week of 6/7/09 through 6/13/09. You know it’ possible, so click below and go for it!
