E3 ‘10: Microsoft Going 3D, Too?

E3 with halo1up.com is reporting that Microsoft may be exploring 3D as well, possible in conjunction with Project Natal/Wave.

According to the site:

According to Blitz Games Studios co-founder Andrew Oliver, Microsoft could be planning to make some sort of announcement related to 3D in the near future — possibly even at E3 next week.

Develop overheard Oliver’s comments at today’s Westminster eForum event in London. “3D does take a bit of extra work,” noted the Dead to Rights: Retribution developer, adding, “Microsoft are going to be making an announcement about it at some point soon.”

Is 3D really that important to gaming? Let us know what you think.
