World Cup Last 16 Argentina vs. Mexico: Preview, Predictions, Fixtures and Odds

Mexico-4bTomorrow at 2:30 PM EST Argentina and Mexico take the world stage in the “Last 16” This should be a classic North vs. South battle as these two phenomenal squads representing the Americas go head to head. Argentina has been a dominating force since the first minute of match play. The question is does the Argentinian team have enough stamina to keep up with this young hungry Mexican team?

Efrain Juarez will be back from his suspension tomorrow. If Carlos Vela also returns from his hamstring injury this will be a monster game to watch. In a press conference today team Mexico coach Javier Aguirre acknowledged Argentina was “the favorite by far,” but said “we will see what happens.”

Javier then went on to repeat “we will see what happens” several times almost like a mantra. The Mexican coach added “These guys are hungry, they’re not afraid of success, they have no complexes. Whether we win or lose, you can never criticize our team. They have the courage and they are going to fight.”

Most analysts see this as an Argentinean blowout . A lot of the odd makers are calling the game Argentina 3/2. Giving Mexico a goal seems to be the trend. I like Mexico for the upset. The TMR Babe Index shows Mexico as the most dominate force in the World Cup. The Mexican fans have spoken, and have voted their women the hottest in the world. As we have said the country with the hottest women will take home the hardware.

The TMR Babe Index has Mexico over Argentina a whopping 50/18. I am going with The Babe Index this game, I am taking Mexico by a goal. The odds makers have the Argentina by a point with the Asian Odds. I feel confident Mexico have the drive to survive this round.

Our official TMR prediction is Mexico by a point. We have been doing pretty good this year so don’t bet against us. To keep you busy until game time.
