ESPN Plans Extensive Coverage of UConn’s Record Run to 89

ESPN2 will be the home to UConn’s Record Run as the Huskies look to surpass Coach John Wooden’s and UCLA’s record 88-game win streak in a battle against No. 14 Florida State from the XL Center in Hartford, Conn., Tuesday, Dec. 21, at 7 p.m. ET.

 
Highlights include:
  • The Final Four announcing team of Dave O’Brien and Doris Burke will call the game, with reporting by Rebecca Lobo;
  • Originally scheduled to air on ESPNU, the game will be shown on ESPN2 at 7 p.m. from the XL Center in Hartford, Conn.;
  • The Final Four studio team of Trey Wingo, Kara Lawson and Carolyn Peck will host an hour-long pregame show on Tuesday beginning at 6 p.m., and additional postgame segments – all from the XL Center;
  • ESPNU will conduct five consecutive hours of UConn programming leading up to the ESPN2 pregame special Tuesday:
