A First Look of Anne Hathaway in the Catwoman Costume (PICS)

I would think that every fan boy on the planet by now knows that Anne Hathaway has been announced as the next actress to slide into the skin tight Catwoman costume. Anne now joins an elite sorority of Hollywood smokeshows that have wrapped themselves in the form fitting suit. The original Catwoman from the Batman series was played by the buxom and curvy Julie Newmar no one would argue how hot Julie look wrapped in the tight black cat suit.

Eartha Kitt took over the role of Catwoman for the third season of the 1960s Batman television series, replacing Julie Newmar, who was unavailable for the final season. Orson Welles once called her the “most exciting woman in the world. Eartha was even more exciting in the dominatrix like Catwoman garb.

After 3 seasons Batman was pulled from the air due to budget issues, the camp and fanaticism for the show lived on. Batman since has made multiple trips to the big screen and has seen multiple actors in the role of the Caped Crusader. Only two more actresses or let’s make three women have taken Julie Newmar’s character to the big screen.

Michelle Pfeiffer was fantastic as Catwoman in the 1992 Batman Returns. Unfortunately she passed on the movie’s spinoff Catwoman in 2004. The producers of the movie once again returned to an African American actress to play Catwoman, Halle Berry. Halle Berry who has an Emmy, Golden Globe and an Oscar among her awards took home the Razzie for Worst Leading Actress for her portrayal of Catwoman.

Now it is Ann Hathaway’s turn to try on the spandex and neoprene. We can’t wait to see Anne in the Catwoman costume so we figured we would do a bit of artist’s rending. We have used our photoshop skills or lack of for good and evil here at TMRZoo. This time around we figured we would do a little good and see how Anne Hathaway would have looked in the Catwoman costumes of days gone by.

So for your entertainment here is the first look of Anne Hathaway in the Catwoman costume in the styles of Michelle Pfeiffer, Julie Newmar, Halle Berry and Eartha Kitt.
