Ultimate ManRoom Showcase: Football Stadium Theatre by AcousticSmart

For the past few years we have been so busy building a new brand that sometimes forget what the TMR in TMRzoo stands for.

TMR stands for The Man Room, the original men’s home entertainment site as envisioned and brought to life back in 2002. TheManRoom.com focused on that special part of a man’s abode that he calls his own, such as a den or a basement, and all forms of entertainment that a guy can enjoy in it… anything from sports, beer and movies to video games, babes and gear.

So in getting back to our roots we will be bringing you our readers into the coolest and most unique Man Rooms, Man Caves and Man Towns ever designed.

This week we would like to introduce you to “Football Stadium Theatre”. Here is the rundown from home entertaiment guru’s AcousticSmart:

The homeowner wanted a place where he could bring friends and fellow alumni to relax and enjoy the games. With the help of the AcousticSmart design team and IES we created a Stadium-like atmosphere that would make “RUDY” proud. The brick walls are actually bricks from the original stadium and the homeowner’s authentic memorabilia is tastefully displayed around the room to add to the themed setting.

The AcousticSmart seating and carpeting where both custom embroidered with the Team logo. The Smart-Art panels depict the actual Stadium profiles, fans, referees and players from an actual game. The panels where a necessary part of the room to acoustically tune the room correctly with all the brick present and what better way to hide them than with our exclusive Smart-Art breathable fabrics and custom acoustical substrates. We also used the Smart-Art fabric for the Scoreboard/Speaker grill in the front of the room which depicts a score from the homeowner’s favorite game. The end result is an Alumni/Football fans dream theatre that looks great and sounds amazing.
