The web is blazing with the report that Demi Moore has taken a drug overdose. There is no news yet in regards as to her intention. Still some outlets are reporting that this is a cry for help or a failed suicide attempt.

Law enforcement sources report that a 911 call was placed at 10:45 PM PST Monday night asking for emergency assistance. When paramedics arrived they were extremely concerned with Demi’s condition and after assessing her for 30 minutes made the decision to rush her to a local hospital.
Demi is being placed in a facility to “seek further professional assistance” for substance abuse.
This looks like textbook manic-depression. Just last month Demi Moore was in the Caribbean laughing and partying it up, today she is seeking help. Demi looked especially suicidal and depressed in a Twitter picture she posted the weekend the report of Ashton Kuthcher’s infidelity broke.

Demi’s rep tells TMZ, “Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health. She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends.”
