NFL Sunday Night Football Preview: Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Denver Broncos

Sunday night all speculating on Peyton Manning’s health will come to an end. What is being called by Steelers fans and Peyton haters as “Peyton Manning’s Final Game” will be played out on Sunday. What better way to test out a surgically repaired neck than to stand across the line of scrimmage from the Steelers’ lethal pass rush.

Peyton Manning must have kept one lucky horseshoe from his Colts days, Pro Bowl outside linebacker James Harrison will not be playing on Sunday. This does not give Peyton a pass. Pro-bowler Brett Keisel and ILB Larry Foote will definitely be in top form for this game. Manning is now without the protection of future Hall of Fame center Jeff Saturday. Making this game more difficult Manning will be playing without his favorite targets Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark.

The Pittsburgh Steelers walk into this game relatively the same powerhouse team they were last year. The Steelers won’t have free safety Ryan Clark who can not play in high altitudes due to a medical condition.

Vegas has this listed as an incredibly close game the point spread is Pit +1.5/Den -1.5 with the Over/Under Total: 45. In my opinion, Denver has too many new parts to win this game. A new defensive scheme and the switch from a option offence to a west coast passing attack. The odds are in favor of the Pittsburgh Steelers to walk out of Sports Authority Field at Mile High with the win.
