Week 7 Super-Accurate Free Expert NFL Picks and Predictions and Week 6 Recap

After a few weeks of everyone making some pretty good overall sets of picks, there was a significant drop off in quality in week 6. The picks were so bad that the average correct picks per member was 5.9. So the House actually won week 6 by getting an embarrassing 6 picks correct.

The bad week of picks was exacerbated by two pretty big upsets in the Pittsburgh Steelers losing to the Titans and the Seahawks beating the New England Patriots. Most entrants got those two picks wrong, limiting their potential.

Since we do have some pride here at TMR Zoo, we are going to award a prize to the member who had the most picks correct in week 6… FLAJINTSFAN. FLAJINTSFAN posted an impressive 12 wins, only whiffing on New England and Houston.

We do not dwell on the past here so it is on to week 7. The House has already made its picks are they are ready for your review on week 7 results page. They are the only picks that are not hidden on the page.

There are a few great defensive match ups this upcoming week, all featuring teams with matching records… or at least records that match at the moment. The Thursday Night football contest features the Niners hosting the Seattle Seahawks, both sporting 4-2 records. Then we head to Sunday at 1:00 for both a battle between the 4-2 Cardinals and Vikings and what should be the match of the week in the Texans hosting the Ravens. Both have 5-1 records.

As for our Beat the House contest, this season, having the most correct picks doesn’t guarantee you the grand prize, so the field is wide open. We have instituted a playoff-style runoff at the end of the season that will include 16 winning entrants. The top 10 players with the most correct picks automatically make the playoffs, and there will be 6 additional “wild card” playoff spots. Two of those spots will go to the contestants who have earned the Beat the House Facebook Page the most likes. See the Beat the House official rules page for all of the details and specific rule changes.

Don’t worry if you’ve missed out on the season so far, you still have plenty of weekly and random prizes to win as well as a wild card playoff berth.
