As you settle in to watch Thursday Nigh Football on the NFL Network tonight there are a few factors to consider. This is not a free win for the San Francisco 49rs tonight; we all know that nothing is certain in the NFL. Even though the 49ers are sitting at 4-2 so are the Seattle Seahawks. Also unlike the Seahawks the 49ers are yet to win against a great team. I could quantify this statement with a typed stream of consciousness outlining the weakness’ of the 49ers past foes. I think time is better served keeping the focus on tonight’s Thursday Night Football matchup.
It is no secret to any NFL fans that the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks are bitter division rivals. This is a division with a gridlock at first place with the Arizona Cardinals sharing the tops spot with the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks and the St. Louis Rams a game away from joining the dance.
Most of these Thursday Night Football games have been pretty damn good. I think this San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks game will be one for the ages. The Seattle Seahawks are coming off a short week after delivering Tom Brady and crew a heartbreaking loss, You Mad Bro?
On the other side of the field The San Francisco 49ers are just so damn good. They have to be one of, if not the most balanced teams in the NFL. When I talk about balance, I am not just talking about offence and defense. The coaching, front office, and organization as a whole.
