TMR Zoo featured a great prize in week 7 of our NFL “Beat the House” picks and predictions contest, so everyone brought their A- game. I don’t remember many perfect weeks in the HISTORY of the contest (which spans 2 websites), let alone multiple perfect sets in one week, but week 7 featured several of them… Five to be exact.
An additional 35 entrants only picked one game incorrectly out of the 13, with many more only missing on two. You all flocked to win the first guaranteed wild card spot in this year’s playoff, but there was only one available.

So, after the overall season pick tiebreaker, C_hawkfan is our winner and has already earned his seat in our post season. You might recognize the name… that is because C_hawkfan is a past grand prize winner of Beat the House and his name is ALWAYS towards the top of the leader board every single year.
Our House picks were one of the sets of only one incorrect pick, so therefore the House was not beaten and no further prizes are going to be awarded this week. However, to keep things exciting, we will roll this week’s movie prize pack into week 8 to make a super movie prize pack for our winner if the House is beaten. Enter your picks now!
Now on to week 8. Yep, we are already at week 8. After this week’s games are played, we are going to be halfway through the 2012 NFL season. The House has already made its picks and predictions for week 8 and now it is your turn to enter yours. It looks like The House went pretty conservative this week with a fairly straightforward pick set. They are ready for your review on week 8 results page. They are the only picks that are not hidden on the page.
As I mentioned earlier, this season, having the most correct picks doesn’t guarantee you the grand prize, so the field is wide open. We have instituted a playoff-style runoff at the end of the season that will include 16 winning entrants. The top 10 players with the most correct picks automatically make the playoffs, and there will be 6 additional “wild card” playoff spots. Two of those spots will go to the contestants who have earned the Beat the House Facebook Page the most likes. See the Beat the House official rules page for all of the details and specific rule changes.
Don’t worry if you’ve missed out on the season so far, you still have plenty of weekly and random prizes to win as well as a wild card playoff berth. There are plenty of ways to win the kegerator from GreatGiftsForMen.com!
