Thanks for checking out my weekly stream of thought on tonight’s Thursday Night Football game on the NFL Network. As you settle in to watch the game live, there are a few things to consider about tonight’s match-up.
The Minnesota Vikings are knocking on the Chicago Bears back door in an attempt to move into first place in the NFC North. While the Vikings seem poised to accomplish this task they are dinged up and injured at many skill positions. Most notably Jared Allen and superstar running back Adrian Peterson.
Tonight seems like a perfect game for the struggling Tampa Bay Buccaneers to get their groove back on. If something does not happen for this team soon the season will quickly fade away. Yes, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are in most win territory. Not only do the Tampa Bay Buccaneers need to win this game, they need to somehow string together a run of wins.
Most NFL bloggers and analyst are calling this game in the Vikings favor. Thursday Night Football so far this year has held many surprises this looks to be a game that just could be another one. To me this looks like a trap game, it has upset written all over it. I said earlier in the day that I liked the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with the +6.5 point the Vegas odds makers are giving them. As the day goes on, I am starting to like Tampa to win this game all out.
