The unlikely has happened for the San Francisco Giants in the 2012 MLB World Series as they won the opening games against the Detroit Tigers. The one game you could almost guarantee a Detroit win in, Justin Verlander’s start, the Giants won handily. The reports are that it is coooooold in Detroit, so the Giants may have a bit of an adjustment to make. It wil be even more cold for Detroit if they can’t secure this must-win game three at home.
