NFL Week 10 Laser-Accurate Free Expert Picks and Predictions and Week 9 Recap

After nine weeks of the 2012 NFL Season, it appears that the “real deal” teams are making themselves known to everyone, and the pretenders are weeding themselves out. The proof is in the pudding… we once again had some damn good picks and predictions from the members in week 9. No one was perfect this week, but there were a handful of members with one miss, and many more with just two.

The House only posted 10 wins, so yes, the House was beaten in week 9. The tiebreakers had to kick in since there was a 5-way tie with 13 out of 14 correct picks this week. With 74 correct picks on the season, Leadfootpaul is our week 9 winner. Congrats Paul, you win a custom-made TMR Zoo beer pong triangle from thepongtriangle.com.

Now, on to week 10. The House has posted his picks on our results page page, and now it is your turn to enter yours. Click the link below to review all of the House picks:

In our opinion, there is only one game of note this week: The Chicago Bears hosting the Houston Texans. This contest is featured perfectly as the Sunday Night prime-time game. What a defensive battle this is going to be! The Texans head into Chicago with a 7-1 record and a 2-game win streak while the Bears are defending their house with a matching 7-1 record, but have the momentum of a 6-game win streak behind them.

The House has crowned the Texans the winner of this battle in Chicago… if you don’t agree, VOTE NOW. Check out the contest page to see the other House week 10 picks and predictions.

There are plenty of prizes to still win if you haven’t entered our Beat the House contest yet. There is a prize to be awarded each week, and we have been announcing special and random prizes as well. This year, the grand prize of a kegerator, from GreatGiftsForMen.com, isn’t just being awarded to the entrant with the most correct picks… we are instituting a playoff-style runoff at the end of the season based on a combination of the best picks and some wild cards.

We’ve already awarded one wild card, so keep entering to secure the next one. See the Beat the House official rules page for all of the details and specific rule changes.
