‘First Picked/Last Signed’ Contest Winner and Final Recap

It took three months, thousands of entries and 31 rookie contracts until the 2013 edition of TMRZoo.com’s exclusive ‘First Picked/Last Signed’ contest came to a close. When the smoke cleared, it was Chance Warmack, the Tennessee Titans’ first pick and the 10th overall pick in 2013, that was the only player selected in the first round that had not signed his rookie contract yet. Therefore, he was the correct answer in our contest.

Chance Warmack was not a very popular guess in this contest, so if you guessed him once or several times, you had a very good chance of winning. Only 4% of entrants picked Warmack to be the last to sign. Even when the field was cut down to 4, Chance was not a favorite.

The most guessed name was Lane Johnson, the 4th overall pick and the first of the Philadelphia Eagles. He was followed by the 49ers’ pick Eric Reid, the 18th overall and then Corradelle Patterson. Patterson was the 29th overall pick by the Minnesota Vikings.

Without further ado, the winner of the 2013 First Picked/Last Signed contest is Sam Washburn from Costa Mesa California. Sam has won a GoPong Premium Light Up LED Cornhole Bean Bag Toss Game Set. We gave the set a dry run and and it is perfect game to play at a BBQ or tailgate event when you know you are going to party well into the night. Enjoy it, Sam.

We want to thank everyone that played who made this contest a great success once again. It will be another month before we kick off our next exclusive/featured contest… Beat the House. Until then, feel free to enter any of the other great contests and giveaways running at TMRZoo.com.
