The first two weeks of the 2013 NFL Season are now in the past. In the first week, it is mostly fanfare with games at special times and kickoff celebrations. In the second, things start to come together and go back to normal with single games on Thursday and Monday night and the rest on Sunday. Now, in week 3, we’ve gotten two good looks at all the teams in the NFL and it is time to get down to business… therefore our free week 3 NFL picks and spot-on expert predictions should be even more precise.
The first game on the week 3 NFL schedule has all the makings of a prime-time drama. The Philadelphia Eagles will be hosting the Kansas City Chiefs and welcoming Andy Reid back to town for the first time since he was dismissed after being the head coach for the previous 13 seasons. To throw an additional log on the forest fire, Donovan McNabb’s number is being retired at halftime.
Our experts are predicting that Reid will not only run the ball down the Philly defense’s throat with Jamal Charles, he’ll shove it up the fans collective *sses as their biggest complaint with him in the twilight of his time there, was that he was too pass-heavy with his offense. Kansas City wins this game outright, not needing the points.
Going down the rest of the roster for week 3, the only other game that is remotely as interesting is the Niners hosting the Colts. Yeah, nothing else is as sexy on the schedule this week. We have San Fran laying the smack down on Indy after they were embarrassed on national TV by only scoring 3 points in Seattle in week 2.
You can review the other 13 free week 3 NFL picks by clicking the link above. You will also have the opportunity to enter your own picks in our “Beat the House” contest which could earn you a chance to win tickets to this season’s Super Bowl, courtesy of Crown Royal.
The “Final Four” contestants in our playoffs, which will be after the divisional round of the NFL playoffs, will each receive a pair of high quality sunglasses from Maui Jim.
This week’s winner will receive a DVD or Blu-ray prize pack, whichever your preference.
Your Thursday Night game pick will need to be entered by kickoff of that game, but the rest are not due until kickoff of the remaining games on Sunday. We will update our Free Week 3 NFL Picks if anything drastically changes before Sunday.
