Typically if a celebrity is shedding clothing it has a direct correlation with dropping records sales or sagging box office numbers. The easiest way for a celebrity to keep her name in the press is by letting a nipple peek out or getting out of a car with no panties.
Rihanna seems to defy this model. Her album sales are soaring, her celebrity status is huge. So why are Rihanna’s boobs and nipples popping out all over the place? The only answer I have is Rihanna doesn’t give a crap. I applauded her for this attitude. You are only young once and beauty is fleeting.
Let’s face it when Madonna was Rihanna’s age we would all flock to the magazine stand every time she took her top off (we didn’t have the internet back then kids). Today Madonna could run through Times Square naked on fire and no one would notice or put her out.
