Week 1 NFL Picks, Predictions and Stone Cold Locks – Against the Spread, Totals and Money Line

Welcome back TMRzoo Sports fans! A new season is upon us and there is fresh money be made. We turned a profit every year thus far and this year should be no different. Let’s get started.

Cincinnati Bengals @ Baltimore Ravens (-1):  The spread has been creeping down in favor of the Bengals since it was released. No Ray Rice should really help the Bengals cause. I think Dalton comes out with something to prove after his big contract. Home field advantage is about the only thing the Ravens have going for them in this one. Bengals -105 to win, 3 units.

Buffalo Bills @ Chicago Bears (-6.5):  Lots of public concerns about the Bears defense. We know their offense will put up a good bit of points, but I don’t see the Bills being able to keep up. I see this game going somewhere around 27-14 Bears. Bears -6.5 -110 to win 2.5 units.

New Orleans Saints (-3) @ Atlanta Falcons: This game is usually close. Remember last year, the Falcons lost a close one and went on to be quite bad. They always play each other tough. I am high on the Saints though. I think this could be a special year for them and they really need to get off to a great start. It could come down to the wire again though, so I am going to take the money line. Saints -165 to win 2 units.

Underdog Pick of the Week:

This week’s underdog is the +170 Carolina Panthers. A lot of money going on the Bucs due to an injury to Cam Newton, but he has practiced and I think this is a game they know they need. Even if Cam doesn’t play, I like the Panthers stout defense and solid running game to go against the Buccaneers. Throw a unit on it.

Panthers +170 Risk 1 unit.

There you have it. Feel free to tell us your picks for each week, or keep them a secret and enter them in the TMRzoo beat the house competition. Ill be there, if you have what it takes.
