Gentlemen’s Club Review: Sapphire Las Vegas

The Low Down
I went to review the world’s largest gentlemen’s club at 8:00am on a Saturday morning.  Yes, you read that right.  8:00… in the MORNING.  Why, you may ask, would I want to do such a seemingly foolish thing, when I can come back and report on all of the craziness that Sapphire Las Vegas would have to offer in the evening?  Simple, because I knew EXACTLY what this club would be like at night:  hundreds of the hottest dancers in the world, killer music, awesome service and a packed crowd.  In order to do this review justice (and because I’ve never been to a gentlemen’s club in the morning), I decided to put Sapphire under closer scrutiny and the club certainly didn’t disappoint.  As with all of my gentlemen’s club reviews, I’ve rated the club’s features and amenities on a scale of one to five, with five being the best possible score.  Before we dive in (to this review, not their pool), I have two important rules to share with you from my visits to Las Vegas gentlemen’s clubs:

Las Vegas Gentlemen’s Club Rule #1: Las Vegas Gentlemen’s Clubs Can Be Overwhelming!
The biggest and best gentlemen’s clubs in Vegas are MASSIVE!  Take your time and don’t let yourself be easily overwhelmed… most clubs are open 24 hours and the larger ones can have hundreds of dancers working at one time.  Take your time, relax and enjoy!

Las Vegas Gentlemen’s Club Rule #2: ALWAYS TAKE THE LIMO!
What I’m about to say isn’t going to make much sense, but just hear me out.  If you walk into most Las Vegas gentlemen’s clubs off the street, expect to pay a cover charge of $30.00 to $50.00.  However, if you’re at a hotel (if not, walk to one nearby) and request a complimentary limo ride (even if it’s only you and nobody else) and admission to the club is FREE!  You’ll just need to tip the limo driver as they work for tips (don’t be cheap!).  Oh, there’s just one catch… it’s usually free to the club but not FROM the club.  Check the club websites and plan your transportation accordingly.  Do your homework and you can save a bundle… to spend on the hard-working dancers, of course!

Location & Facilities – 5 Stars
The world’s largest gentlemen’s club is located one block west of the Las Vegas Strip near some of the most well-known Las Vegas casinos such as Stratosphere, Wynn Las Vegas, Treasure Island and Circus Circus.  The club is absolutely enormous and features two massive projection screens, two karaoke rooms, two main poles (under which lies the Rock Star Lounge in the middle of the club), The Showroom featuring comedy shows and their Men of Sapphire male revue as well as individual private skyboxes, each one themed after a particular brand of champagne such as Moet & Chandon and Ace of Spades.  Perhaps the most amazing part of this club is the Sapphire Pool & Dayclub, which offers rentable lounge chairs, cabanas, bungalows and much more during the summer months… as well as a chance to hang with the bikini-clad ladies of Sapphire!  Not surprisingly, Sapphire Las Vegas has earned itself numerous awards including Best Gentlemen’s Club, Best Bachelor Party and Best Dayclub by the Las Vegas Review Journal.

Staff – 5 Stars
The staff at Sapphire Las Vegas truly offers a world-class experience that matches the grandeur of Vegas itself.  I can’t write this review without giving special thanks to my awesome limousine driverJacob, who provided great conversation and a fun trip to the club even at such an early hour of the morning (for Vegas, that is).

Food & Drink – 4.5 Stars
Sapphire Las Vegas has an amazing variety of top-shelf drink options as well as enough champagne options to satisfy even the most discriminating champagne connoisseur. Want to spend $75,000 on a 15 liter bottle of Ace of Spades?  No problem!  The club features a daily happy hour special from 10:00am to 6:00pm and food is served at the club from 9:00am until 6:00pm.  While you’re there, don’t forget to check out the delicious Mexican food options at El Dorado, attached (but with a separate entrance) to the club.  The club also offers a variety of cigar options for your enjoyment.

Dancers – 5 Stars
On a scale of one to five, the dancers at Sapphire Las Vegas are more like a TEN!  Even in the early hours of the morning, the gorgeous dancers, who were at the end of their long graveyard shifts, were incredibly beautiful and had more personality than most of the dancers I’ve ever met.  I spent most of my time with Charlie Brooks, an adorably cute tall brunette dancer who pulled off a killer burlesque look.  Or, as crazy fun dancer Tyler put it, “Charlie is the sweetest stripper you’ll ever fucking meet.”  The most fun I had was when a dancer walked up to Charlie and I to tell us about her new “implants” and began to pull napkins out of her bra and pelt Charlie with them!  While the girls might hustle at night, they’re nothing but fun and personality in the early morning hours.

Value – 4 Stars
While I would love to give this club five stars for value, it goes without saying that the world’s largest strip club, located in Vegas, isn’t going to be the best option for the ultra-frugal gentlemen’s club patron.  Make sure to bring some cash and have plenty of room on your credit cards, as experiencing the ultimate in gentlemen’s club luxury will set you back quite a bit.  The cover charge is $44.00 without taking the complimentary limo, but when I arrived I was still charged a $10.00 service fee to enter.  Drinks don’t come cheap, either, as I had to cough up $43.00 for a mimosa and a shot of Jameson.  The VIP rooms are fairly reasonable, with 15 minute chair dances starting at $150.00 and the sky is the limit in terms of how much you can spend from there.

Website & Social Media – 5 Stars
With all of the entertainment options and party packages available at the club, offers a complete guide to everything you will need to make your trip to the club an amazing one.  Don’t forget to check out their Facebook, Twitter and YouTube pages for the most up-to-the-minute club information.

In Brief…
Everything is bigger in Las Vegas, and Sapphire Gentlemen’s Club is no exception.  The club truly offers a chance to experience the “rock star lifestyle” and deserves every award it has received.
