Hailing from a small town in Canada, cosplayer Riddle currently resides in Georgia; where she moved several years ago to work professionally in costume making for movies. Riddle is able to lay claim to being part of some large movie releases about superheroes, most recently X-Men: First Class and Captain America: Civil War.
However she is humble about this. “I wasn’t part of the costume creation process as all, that was done by extremely talented folks at various studios that Marvel hired. In both instances I did get the opportunity to work on both movies because of the skills I have learned from cosplay,” she said, ”I was basically a specialty dresser for some of the principle actors and stunt guys (usually along with 1-2 other people). I just want to be honest and forthcoming with who creates and makes the costume. And while someday I hope I can be apart of that process, I’m still really happy to be a very small gear in the machine of super hero movies.”
She is often cited as one of the top cosplayers in North America, (some say in the world). Yes, her costumes are amazing; and yes, she is both incredibly beautiful and sexy. But, more than that it’s Riddle’s personality that shines through every character she portrays. During interviews she is open and honest (such as the example already cited); admitting that she loves the costume work at first, but by the end wishes to move onto her next project, for example. Her photos show her happily interacting with other cosplayers, both top listed and casual artists; she also smiles constantly and warmly greets fans.
A look through her social media and interviews shows this and her quirky side. Riddle has a number of pet squirrels, she isn’t afraid to make goofy faces for her photo sessions and doesn’t seem to take herself overly seriously. For example she has named her official Facebook page ‘Riddle’s Messy Wardrobe’.
This combination of personality, good looks, talented costume making and natural energy are what makes Riddle a cosplayer worth following; which you can do via her Facebook or Instagram pages.
