Week 14? Seriously? Didn’t this season just start. In any case, we are just as confused about who the elite teams are now as we were in week 2. Some cream started rising to the top at mid-season, but most of it started sinking again. Even the 11-0 Carolina Panthers had a hard time beating the 4-7 Saints in week 13. There are still a few more weeks for ANY team within striking distance of the playoffs to get hot. On to the free week 14 NFL picks and expert predictions.
We usually highlight a game between two good teams as our pick of the week but we are mixing it up for week 14. Look no further than the Sunday Night Football contest with the Baltimore Ravens hosting the Seattle Seahawks. Seattle looked like they were floundering early on in the season but they have really gotten it together lately scoring 29, 39 and 38 points in their last three contests. They may be too far behind to win the NFC West, but Seattle is going to win and cover on Sunday in a statement game that will give them the best momentum heading into the post season.
