C.J. Asher – First of all, thank you for this interview, Brett! Tell me a little bit about yourself.
Brett Rossi – I was born in Southern California and I just turned twenty seven. I studied business and nursing in college.
C.J. Asher – You started modeling at the young age of fourteen. How did you first get introduced into the modeling world?
Brett Rossi – My grandmother was a Pepsi Cola model, so it just was kind of already established in my DNA to want to be in front of the camera at a very young age.
C.J. Asher – Tell me about how you first got involved in the adult entertainment industry.
Brett Rossi – I originally started working at the Playboy Mansion as one of Hef’s painted girls for one of his parties. Then, Howard Stern discovered me and made me “Miss Howard Stern TV” and from there it just sort of spiraled to Penthouse, Hustler and evolved into adult movies.
C.J. Asher – What was it like working in the Playboy Mansion?
Brett Rossi – The mansion was great because I was there during “The Girls Next Door” era.
C.J. Asher – What was your favorite experience working with Hugh Hefner and living the “Playboy” lifestyle?
Brett Rossi – I think my favorite experience was meeting people from all over the world.
C.J. Asher – You were named Miss February 2012 Penthouse Pet of the Month. How did that experience impact your career in adult entertainment?
Brett Rossi – When I became a Penthouse Pet, it was exciting because I had reached that milestone very early in my career while I understood other girls worked years and years to become a Pet. It was very humbling, but also great for my career because it really pushed my career to the next level.
C.J. Asher – How did you first get involved in adult film?
Brett Rossi – I started it doing centerfold world and eventually I evolved into shooting girl-girl only scenes. I shot one boy-girl scene and then took a few year hiatus and when I came back I decided to shoot full on boy-girl scenes.
C.J. Asher – How long have you been an adult film actress?
Brett Rossi – I’ve been filming adult movies since 2010.
C.J. Asher – How did you choose your stage name?
Brett Rossi – My real name is a boys’ name and I’ve always liked that it; was unique so I wanted to do the same for my stage name. I also wanted a name that wasn’t too outrageous and also closer to the beginning to the alphabet because names are typically listed in alphabetical order in movie credits so I came up with Brett and the last name was easy considering Rossi was truly my last name.
C.J. Asher – What advice would you give to someone who wants to become an adult film actress?
Brett Rossi – I would say don’t go against your comfort level. Only do as much as you are comfortable with and go at your own pace. Remember that you are always in control of your own career and don’t ever let anyone pressure you to go beyond your limits.
C.J. Asher – Most people don’t know that being an adult film actress is really hard, physically demanding work! What do you do outside of the industry to relax, unwind and have fun?
Brett Rossi – I’m very active outside the business. I love the outdoors. I spend a lot of time hiking and riding my horse. Other than that, I’m a major home-body.
C.J. Asher – What nominations and awards have you received?
Brett Rossi – I’ve been nominated several times for best girl-girl scenes.
C.J. Asher – What television shows are you into right now?
Brett Rossi – Right now I’ve been binge watching “Naked and Afraid.” I also love “Criminal Minds” and “Cops.”
C.J. Asher – You’re going to be performing as a feature entertainer at the Houston Vivid Gentlemen’s Club location this weekend. What other upcoming appearances can your fans check you out at?
Brett Rossi – For June, I’ll be dancing in San Diego, Austin and Rhode Island.
C.J. Asher – You had been retired back in 2013 to finish your degree in nursing. What made you decide to return to adult film?
Brett Rossi – I decided to return to adult film because I had a clear mind and enough space to realize that I truly enjoy being in the business. I missed the people and relationships you build with in the industry. Not to mention, I missed my fans and I worked so hard to build a brand, I really wanted to come back and finish what I felt had been “unfinished” business.
C.J. Asher – In your own words, what was your relationship with Charlie Sheen like?
Brett Rossi – I was in love. We got engaged, like any normal relationship, we had issues that we couldn’t work though. We broke up. The end.
C.J. Asher – What upcoming projects are you working on now?
Brett Rossi – Right now I am really just focusing on expanding my brand. I have a few projects I’m working on but I’m not quite ready to share them as of yet.
