Technically it doesn't matter but yeah its HSS. The neck pickup is a hum sized single.

not gay.

just palling around.

Raph.

just to verify, you want:

master vol
master tone
5-way switch
and a single mini toggle -> to do what exactly?

the diagram you linked, the push/pull just switches both neck and bridge humbuckers to split mode.

if you wanted to do series/split/parallel using an on/on/on mini-toggle, it would only be able to do the switching for either the bridge or neck buckers, not both.

lemme know. the diagram's otherwise pretty simple.

I originally thought it could be cool to split both, that way it turns it into a SSS in a way. Only problem is the neck pickup will be too weak.

The series/split/parallel is good but what pickup would it be good on the neck or the bridge? hmmmmmmmm

RE: Spectrum wiring. - CTN - 11-19-2014

do you like single coils in the bridge position?

if yes, then I'd try the series/split/parallel on the bridge pickup.

If you prefer having a straight up humbucker in the bridge and want some more variety in the neck position, do it on the neck pickup
