In fairness to my dead 9-year old battery, I moved closer to the office 2 years ago (1.5 miles).
The short trips probably added strain and drain to it.

One week later, I had a blow out. Front tire.
The tires were 3 years old, so I ended up buying a set.
, the car has gotten $750 worth of upgrades in a week. It does start and ride better, though.
