I finally got around to watching Gone Girl. David Fincher never disappoints! It also helped that there were some beautiful women in the movie.

I've seen it before but worth watching again. A doco called " In the Shadow of Motown: The Funk Brothers. "
If you don't know, they were the backing band/musicians for the motown artists and hits.

I thoroughly enjoyed that film. IDK what happened to my copy. I loaned it out so much that I lost track of it.

I watched XxX the other night. Yes, it was panned by the critics. Yet it was entertaining.

My wOman made me watch NOAH and Some other shit where this girl had to be part of a certain group of gangs, she went with the gang who do stunts and jump of trains........Some shit like that.

Both were fucking garbage. really cringe worthy stuff. I got about 20 mins into both and decided that was enough.

I watched interstellar. It was good except for the fact that the main character is Matthew Mcaughendjfieksmswhateverthefuckhisnameis.

Really could've done without him.

The whole ending bit of the plot where it turns a "normal" space journey into some fantastical inexplicable phenomenon reminded me a lot of that movie with Gary Sinise where he goes to mars and finds alien life there and has some sort of fantastical inexplicable phenomenal experience. I enjoyed that too, but it seems now that the whole inexplicable thing is a go-to tactic for plot resolutions when sci-fi writers have no original way to end a story.

God Contact was so fucking lame...

It was lame to 11yo me, I can't even imagine how bad it is now.

And I actually like Jodie Foster in certain movies. Namely Silence of the Lambs.

I actually liked Contact a bit, but again, the ending of the mission/beach scene was so pathetically dumb, I felt ripped off.

The ending of a movie is a make or break moment for me, most of the time, so that kinda makes sense.

in the top 10 comedies of all time for me. I love Team America!

I took the boy to see Big Hero 6... we both agree that it was ok, but nothing new or terribly exciting.
