Of course. - youngthrasher9 - 06-11-2014 Last night I said "With all the good things happening lately, I'm sure the universe is going to drop a bomb on me soon." I was right. My car blew a hose and subsequently overheated and died today. Motherfuckin' balance of the universe, man. RE: Of course. - Securb - 06-11-2014 A hose is an easy fix. If you did not try to drive it afterwards, warping the heads or fucking up the thermostat. What kind of car? What kind of car? I totally fucked the engine. It's a CR-V. New car time. RE: Of course. - Big Flannel - 06-11-2014 That sucks, man. Its funny how every once in awhile the universe decides to fuck with people. Whatever you do, don't buy a Prius. My sister has prius. It's like a fucking tampon on wheels. RE: Of course. - Speng - 06-12-2014 That sucks. Did you drive it long after the hose blew? Rookie mistake for sure, but the car did have over 250k on it, so it's not like it was brand new or anything. RE: Of course. - Dr. Vegetable - 06-12-2014 A CR-V with only 250K miles on it? It was just a baby! ![]() RE: Of course. - LesStrat - 06-12-2014 Those idiot lights and gauges are there for a reason. FYI. My check engine light came on awhile back so I consulted the manual, it could be almost anything. It turned out to be a vacuum leak, eventually I had it narrowed down to the gas cap needing to be cleaned. Of course the dealership wanted $100 and hour to diagnose the problem. I declined, but I had them get the error code from the computer and I did some research online. |
