I am very surprised we haven't had any comments about the horrendous umpiring that we've seen over the course of all of 4 series, or a discussion centering on how the need for expanded instant replay becomes more apparennt every game.
As a fan, I am very discouraged by the fact that although the tools exist, and other sports use them with great success, baseball refuses to use the tools that will allow them the ability to get the calls right.
There is no good reason why they can't have a 5th umpire who sits in a room watching the same HD replays that we're watching at home. The calls can be corrected in moments, by a quick call to the crew chief.
Of course, balls and strikes could never be reviewed, but almost everything else should be. There's no reason why they wouldn't want to do whatever they can to make sure they get the calls correct, every time. And that includes using modern technology.

There's no crying in baseball
