My new guitar project

Bruce, is there any difference between tuning pegs for electric and acoustic guitars? A neighbor of a friend was moving and I saw he had two acoustic guitars sitting in the trash so I nabbed them....it seemed like a shame to see them crushed. They're in somewhat decent shape but both are missing the tuning pegs. I figured I'd get some cheap pegs and see if the guitars sounded decent enough to warrant refinishing.

If nothing else I'll just leave them laying around for shits and giggles.
