We have so many multiple winner weeks this year I don't think it is going to be win-and-you're-in for the playoffs, final points are going to play a huge role this year.

Ok I didn't finish in the top 10 but I was one of the winners of the final week which promise to grant the weekly winner a playoff spot. What is the tie breaker? I was lucky enough to win 2 different weeks which I hope is the tie breaker but I cant find it anywhere in the rules. Any ideas?

Hi Laura, playoff invitations were just sent out a few minutes ago... and yes, you received one. Follow the directions in the email.

Here are the final grand champion scenarios. All four picked the Broncos to beat the Patriots, so the result of that game doesn't matter, however the score very much does:
thekuktas7 is our champion if: the 49ers beat the Seahawks and the total points scored on the day is 96 or less. (note: if exactly 96 points are scored, then thekuktas7 and CANDYSGIRL are tied by being 3 points off the total score, then it goes to the ultimate tie-breaker of regular season record) rokdaddy2k is our champion if: the Seahawks beat the 49ers and the total points scored on the day is 98 or more. (note: if exactly 98 points are scored, then rokdaddy2k and jvlattas are tied by being 1 point off the total score, then it goes to the ultimate tie-breaker of regular season record) jvlattas is our champion if: the Seahawks beat the 49ers and the total points scored on the day is 97 or less. CANDYSGIRL is our champion if: the 49ers beat the Seahawks and the total points scored on the day is 97 or more.

This year's champion is jvlattas. John picked both conference championship games correctly and was the closest to the total points scored on the day... including picking the exact total points scored for the Seattle-San Fran game.
John had 169 correct picks in 2013, which was tied for 5th overall on the leader board. Congrats jvlattas and enjoy the Super Bowl! |
