Yard work is killing me

i thought i was going to pass out once yesterday but i made it through... damn weeds!

This drought in the Northeast killed my lawn. Let me know when we are having the crappiest lawn contest I'll post pictures. I am out probally $400 in grass seed and plants. I am done for the year outside of cutting and weeding. In September I will irate and overseed.

my neighbor gave me a cup full of weed and feed and told me to put it on my worst spot in the yard.

it's now just a patch of dirt

see what happens in fall!

oh, and I haven't cut my lawn in 2 weeks. yes it's long but at least it's not brown and dead.

I put down some great fertilizer I am getting green again.

I also sprayed a bug bomb, hosed down the yard with bug free back yard and then did another bug bomb in the rough. I probably fucked up the ecosystem for years to come but I dont see any bugs.

Yep and it works better and it is cheaper. I will post the name next bag I get. I am using some agricultural grade stuff that I am getting from a farming supply shop up here. I am using that and lime.

I live next to conservation land that can not be touched for 50 years! I will be long gone before they dig anything up

I used to use some stuff made by Scotts, it was just called "Lawn Food". It was made of chicken shit and other organic material. I can't find it around here anymore, I was going to just use Milorganite (made from human fecal matter)...another quality product made in Milwaukee. :eek:

I have since decided to just say screw it and not bother fertilizing the yard.
