When you hear about the storyline you can't possibly imagine how they make an entertaining movie out of it but the performances by Firth and Rush, along with their characters' quirks, make it a great watch. Legacy was OK. The reinvention of some of the original concepts was neat to see.

49th Parallel - Not too bad for being a British WWII propaganda film.

Seventh Cross - Really Solid Spencer Tracy movie from 1944. He plays an escapee from a concentration camp.

Operation Crossbow - Turd of a movie that took forever to get going. Sophia Loren was totally unnecessary in the movie and dragged the whole thing down. I hate watching a color movie that suddenly shows stock war footage in black and white and really shitty quality.

The Hangover II- Just as funny as the original, some gags they up'ed the ante. The monkey is awesome and Zach Galifianakis is a freaking howl. The entire theater was laughing out loud through the whole movie. Bonus they served beer at the theater.

Kanal - Never heard of it before, it was good

I saw half of the last Harry Potter and On Stranger Tides in IMAX.
Took my son to Pirates, it was good fun. IMAX really upped the ante with the film and scared the shit out of him at some scenes.
