If he is really pissy with the Packers, he could stay within the division... and he would start on any one of those teams.

The latest is that the Packers won't release him and there's been no interest in trading for him. I guess Favre asked about being a coach of some sort and they told him "no".
There's speculation if he returns he'll be a backup. That'll really get the diva riled up.

Supposedly he did nothing with Rogers as far as taking the mentor role. I'd say no way to a coach either. I'm glad Green Bay is calling his bluff. It would be great if they didn't worry about the salary issue and made him the emergency 3rd QB.
Will it blend? That is the question.

He actually said in an interview when Rodgers was drafted that he wouldn't mentor him... saying it wasn't his job to do that

More on how Favre's family saying the Packers didn't make him feel wanted...bullshit...
One of the tv stations here had a story about some local guy who was visiting his family in Mississippi back in May (two months after princess retired). The guy went to Favre's estate and was snapping pictures of his family by the front gate. As they were leaving who is pulling up? Ted Thompson (Packer's general manager).

Kareem Abdul-Jabber rarely did interviews, worked with players, and all that when he was a player and that's a big reason why he can't find a coaching job the past few years.
Yes, it's not his job. But, if you want to go on to a second career in the NFL, you have to do more than just play. And, on the other hand, if he's the team captain, it is his job.
Will it blend? That is the question.

No matter where he goes, he's always going to be associated with the Packers. Just like Montana is associated with the 49ers even though he played his last 2 seasons with the Chiefs and Emmit Smith will always be a Cowboy in our minds, even though he played a season or two with the Cardinals. No matter where Favre ends up, he'll always be a Packer as far as most people are concerned.

I think I can solve this whole pile of shit.
Packers take Favre back and make him the starter with an all-or-nothing contract. Either they win a Super Bowl or Favre doesn't get paid.
Will it blend? That is the question.

The Packers will do anything to keep him out of the NFC I see a Taylor for Favre trade happening.
