In one scene they are in the hospital after an MRI and the doc lights up right there in the hospital before he tells the mom the results.
Being a ex-smoker (OK I might light up still when I drink) and being a bit older than you I remember smoking in hospitals, planes and I could even smoke in school in High School. Now kids cant even buy a fucking Coke and a Snickers in school.

That's one thing I've noticed in alot of the old movies I watch, the smoking everywhere. The smoking in hospitals always gets a chuckle.

The Fourth Kind - Pretty creepy movie, Milla Jovovich is still hot
Au Revoir Les Enfants - Good movie, as long as you don't mind subtitles. A French boarding school run by priests seems to be a haven from World War II until a new student arrives. He becomes the roommate of top student in his class. Rivals at first, the roommates form a bond and share a secret.

Mrs. Miniver - How it won best picture is beyond me. Long, boring ass movie about a rich British family during the start of WWII.
I would have turned it off but it was raining outside.
