They're doing some roadwork around here and there are warning flags all over the place for buried natural gas line and buried power lines. I was cutting the grass and looked away for a split second, I hope no one gets electrocuted because I shredded the shit out of that red flag.

So they started the roadwork here, there's no fucking road in front of my house! They sent a letter last week informing me that I will have no access to my driveway for six to eight weeks. This is going to be so much fun carrying groceries and everything from a block away.

I was just watching tv and I felt something weird on my leg. I rolled up my pants leg and I had a tick crawling up my leg, I hate those freaking things. I wasn't outside very long, just a few minutes. Now I'm all paranoid about the bloodsuckers.

I was thinking about going to bed a little while ago when there was a knock on the door. It was a guy from the city, the road contruction earlier in the day apparently hit the water main four doors down and they just found out when the road started flooding. So now I have no water for the night and they are making a shitoad of noise. The road across the street is underwater, if you can call it a road, it's just gravel.
I hope the shit gets fixed before the morning.

One good thing about this drought we're going through, I haven't had to cut the grass in almost two months...it's all brown and crunchy.

Cleared out about a 1/4 acre of brush and filled two massive sinkholes on my property. I also put in a stone pavers walkway. It is costing me a fortune but after living here 3 years the house is looking pretty good. Now if I could only do something about the property across the street. It hasnt been touched in 5 years and everybody thinks it is abandoned. Its not. Fallen trees and shit all over the yard.

You got off easy I am dealing with a fucked up irrigation system...again. I am covered in mud and of course the broken head is in the middle of Ginger and Lola's favorite shitting spot.
