Miracle in the Rain - A movie from 1956 set in 1942. A homely woman meets a guy who's about to go off to war, it was dumb. They meet on the street, he grabs here groceries and invites himself to dinner with her and her mother...what a pushy dick. They fall in love in a few short days and then he's off to fight in the war.

All the President's Men - Good movie, I only had a brief idea of what the Watergate scandal was about beforehand

Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid - I remember seeing this when it first hit HBO back in the early 80's and not getting it. It's a really underrated Steve Martin movie set in the 1940's. The way they edited in all the vintage movie clips was pretty impressive, considering it was made in 1982.

Heathers - Not as good as I remembered, plus Winona Ryder is terrible in the role.

Sleeping Beauty - Not the Disney movie. Some Australian chick who's low on money starts working at a brothel. She drinks a sedative and guys fondle her while she's sleeping. Pretty dumb and very low budget, she's either naked in the movie or wearing the exact same clothes.

Secretary - I find Maggie Gyllenhaal very homely, that took any eroticism out of the movie. Even if there was an attractive female lead, it was a dumb movie.

Watched two Steve McQueen movies:
The War Lover - Some good WWII bomber footage, plus the great line, "You don't make love, you're too twisted. You make hate". McQueen plays a dick who goes after his best friend/co-pilot's girlfriend.
Papillon - Excellent movie, MCQueen and Dustin Hoffman are stuck in a prison in French Guiana.

Interesting trivia you probably know: McQueen and Hoffman only interacted when the cameras were rolling, they didn't talk to each other otherwise.
