I watched No Country For Old Men yesterday while I cleaned my dad's Remington 870 magnum.

Magnum = in this case vent ribbed 870 with a reciever that accepts 3" shells.


Easily my favorite shotgun.

I watched Red Dragon.

Easily one of my favorite horror movies now.

Just watched Whiplash.

fucking great movie. It's about a jazz drummer kid in at a fictional music school and his mad desire to be one of the best drummers of all time. The protagonist is his teacher who is a fucking weirdo, and whose main technique of motivating students is to break them right the fuck down.

Lots of killer big band/concert band jazz if you like jazz.

I watched most of Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.


Eva Greene was hot as hell but that didn't make up for the fact that the movie just didn't interest me as much as the first.

She was the best part of the crappy Dark Shadows movie.

Eva Green always bugged me a bit, i couldn't place my finger on why exactly.

Then I started watching Penny Dreadful, and my mild annoyance blossomed into full on hate.


Now I can't stand her. Completely contrived and over-the-top acting, and I find her completely unattractive because of it.
