Well my long awaited NGD is here. I first envisioned this guitar years ago and finally was able to place the order back in April. After many months of waiting the body arrived a few weeks back and the neck arrived on Friday. I have it all assembled and have been playing it since Friday evening now.
I have been a big fan of the Gibson LP Voodoo, swamp ash series and even the Raw Power series (all maple LP's and SG's) for a long time now so I wanted to piece together a little something based on those ideas. The end result is fantastic, I really couldn't be happier with this guitar!
The specs: swamp ash solid body, Seymour Duncan Whole Lotta Humbuckers set, push/push volume pots for coil splits, Warmoth roasted maple Regal 24.75" conversion neck, stainless steel 6100 frets, 59 roundback profile, 10-16" compound radius.
Ok, here's some photos. The light was a bit unfavorable this morning so this is the best I've got for now:

Such a nice colour combo. I went with the same basic plan for my very first build (RIP). Blue body, maple neck, black hardware. Classic. Congrats on the new addition to your home!

It's just glare and bad light reflection.

That's amazing looking, Jake. I just love it.
How do the WLHs sound? I just used mine for the first time in a few months (through my cranked up Mesa Stiletto Ace) and they sounded glorious.

Thanks dude!
I think to say the WLH's sound glorious would be an understatement! I mean shit, I've only been playing them for a few days now but so far my opinion is they are the best pickups I've ever used. Maybe it's partially the guitar too but they really sing, scream, wail and have a sensitive side.

Thanks man. The neck feels very smooth and fast. i am really enjoying the feel of the roasted maple. The smell is fucking awesome too! It smells like a damn campfire!
